Capo Dana Season Schedule

The season starts on the first weekend of December and runs thru late February for the Divisional Players.  All-Stars will be done by the first weekend of April. The Rookies will be done by mid-February.  The Rookie program will be on Saturdays.  The Divisional teams will start practicing the first week of November and games will be either Saturday or Sunday depending on gym availability.  Girls play inter-league, so they will play against other local NJB leagues and travel to their gyms.  Please check back for any updates or new announcements.

Capo Dana NJB Refund Policy

All requests for refunds must be made to us via email or written mail, before the teams are drafted.  There will be a $10 cancellation fee for all registrations which covers processing fees.  There will be no refunds after the teams have been drafted.  Draft dates will be posted on the website as they become available.

Rookie Program - Kindergartner & 1st Graders

These players follow the rules of the 3rd/4th grade level and play with an 8 foot basket.  Games are 5 periods of 6 minutes each. Each player will receive a "Rookie" jersey and a basketball (25.5").  There are no referees and we do not record scores.  One coach from each team is allowed on the court during the game to help bring the ball down the court and teach the players the basics of the game.  By mid-season, the players will be playing without help from the Coaches.  There will be a practice each week before the game during the season.  Any additional practice is up to the individual coaches.  The season will last for 8 weeks.  All games are played on Saturday mornings.  We will focus on a new skill each week.  When you register, there is an option for a "friend request", so that you may choose to be on the same team with "one" other friend.  Look for the "friend" option right under the field for the name of your school.  Each player may choose one friend to be on the same team.  That friend must also choose your player or the request will not be honored.  We are allowing only "ONE" request per player.  We make every effort to group the players by school to make it more enjoyable.  The cost per player is $160 per player.  There is a $10 sibling discount.  There are no Early Bird discounts.  This division fills up quickly, so register as soon as possible.  We are limited to 6 teams in this division.

Division 4 - 2nd Graders

The 2nd Graders follow the rules of the 3rd/4th grade level, except that they play with an 8 foot basket for the first half of the season before moving up to a 9 foot basket.  Games will be 5 periods of 6 minutes each.  There is one official referee per game and we do not record the scores of games.  This year, each player will receive a "full" uniform and a basketball (27.5"). We make every effort to group players by school to make it more enjoyable.  There will be a practice each week before your game during the season.  We will focus on a new skill each week.  Additional practices are up to the individual coaches.  The season lasts for 8 weeks.  All games are played on Saturday mornings/early afternoons with an occasional Sunday game.  The cost per player is $195 per player.  There are Sibling discounts and Early Bird discounts (if registered by September 15th) for this division.  We are limited to 4 teams in this division.
